How long can I check out an item?

Check out periods at the Coastal Carolina Community College Library are based around your status as either a Student, Non-student, or Faculty/Staff member.

Students

Resource Loan Period Renewals Notes
Books 21 days 2 renewals
  • Up to two volumes at a time for a fiction series.
  • Up to five graphic novels at a time.
DVDs 7 days None
  • Up to three DVDs at a time.
  • One volume of a series at a time.
  • Additional days allotted per disc of a series.
  • $1.00 late fee per day.

Reserves

(Textbooks, headphones, laptops, etc.)

 2 hours None
  • Reserve items must stay on the second floor of the LRC.

Non-Students

  • Non-students cannot check out DVDs
